A month to go!

Originally moving day was supposed to be March 16, but as you can see, the cold weather and lots of snow, set things back a bit.  New closing date is April 9 and things seem to be on schedule. Thank goodness for the spring weather now.
Lots of changes at the homestead since Family Day weekend when we were home last -- love the brick.

Here Julia checks out Buddy the drywaller's workmanship in the great room - the tray ceiling looks cool.

Here's Carmel in her pantry -- again -- a theme for many of our pictures chronicling this journey.

Here's a shot of one of the soon-to-be favourite parts of the house -- the POOL! Now it's just a mud bath out the back off the covered back patio (cement was to be poured for patio this week), and now all it looks like is a mud bath, but it will be such a treat when it's all done. Bring on the summer weather and the cocktails!

This will the room Julia and I will stay in when we come to visit.

Here are the girls in the basement family room - space above fireplace has been wired for flat screen tv -- good thinking Carmel.
