Meanwhile on the slopes...

While I was painting, Julia was skiing with Alyse, Moe and Guy. Here's a bit of their day captured by Moe on the slopes.

Here's a quick shot of Guy whizzing off the chair lift on his way to the hill - he's quick -- don't blink or you'll miss him. He's on the left in the blue and yellow jacket.

I was delighted to get the lunch time phone call to say that the lesson had gone well and the girls were doing well with the lift and the hills. A perfect day with sun and warm temps -- and no crowds. This was a big bonus as Moe and Guy got private lessons because no one was there, and the girls got semi-private. Looks like the lessons paid off -- here they are Julia first and Alyse following behind.

This short clip gives an idea of how high they were -- would have loved to been there to see the girls conquer the hills.
