An excited girl headed off to Gr. 2 a week ago.
Still holding on to summer -- wore her flip flops to school.
Wanted to wear summer skort instead of the autumnal top
I suggested -- it was short sleeved -- but had "brown" in it.
She wasn't ready to go there...
She really wanted to wear her skort and a tank top.
Wish I had a scanner to show you the same picture taken 3 years ago
when Julia started JK -- she looks like a toddler posing by front of the school.
It was Strawberry Shortcake and Backyardigans in those days.
This year -- Wizards of Waverly place lunch bag
and Hannah Montana Thermos waterbottle.
We used last year's Children's Place back pack, still in good repair -
Julia had campaigned for a wheelie backpack - perhaps next year.

Love these photos. What a big girl, and can't wait to spend time with her (and you) in March!
And by the way, we *have* a scanner that I can never be bothered to use. I usually just take a picture of the old photo on my digital camera and download it that way. Much easier!
