First and Last

A look back at September 2009 after the longest summer ever at the Gr. 2 girl with the jaunty hair, missing tooth, spindly legs, who was turning cartwheels on the beach at Southampton 15 hours before this picture was taken....NOTE -- this skirt is now too short to be worn to school, she's grown so much.


Fast forward to June 29, 2010 and it's a 1/2 head-taller gal -- still with spindly legs, hair long enough for a pony tail now, striking her vogue pose on the last day of Gr. 2. She has a worldly-wise quality to her -- look at the "posed" leg. She's all that and a bag of chips, Shauna would say. This is a girl who has rocked Gr. 2 and is ready for summer. NOTE -- the green leggings no longer need a pin in the back to hold them up.
